Hi. Welcome, everyone. Thanks for coming to our webinar. Today, we're gonna give you some background on our product, do a product demo, and answer any questions you have. So to kick it off, my name is Brent Gross. Head of product and development here at SCAN one two three. I've been here for almost two years now. I have spent twenty four years in the auto industry. Spent seventeen years at AutoNation in the corporate office. I ran I was a director there, and I was responsible for, F and I operations and systems. Spent time in dealerships, spun a few deals. We bought new dealerships. I'd go on-site and help train, manage DMS, everything I had to do in in the F and I space. Then I decided to, flip sides and go from a retailer to a vendor, and I spent a few years over at CDK as a director, of product for f, FNI, eContracting, and, Credit. Then, my career took me over to DealerSocket, where I was a VP of product of automate and inventory plus, and then spent a little time at CUNA Mutual TrueStage, in the fintech sector. So long history working automotive, both on the retail side as well as the software side. And then I've been here, like I said, two years, so it's a nice mix of both. Simon, why don't you go ahead and introduce yourself? Yeah. My name is Simon Johnston. I am a technical product owner here. I've been a software developer in the cybersecurity space, prior. But for the last three years here at Scan one two three, I've been working very closely in the automotive sector, especially with controllers and learning a lot about their pains, with, you know, closing their books at the end of the month. But, yeah, that's kind of a background for me. Cool. And also, we have Kit from our marketing team. She's in the chat. So if you have any questions, just put them in there and she'll stop us and call them out. So moving forward, so the next thing we'll go through is our agenda. So we did our welcome and our introductions, but, you know, we'll talk a little bit how we listen to controllers, to understand the pain and the challenges you guys are having. I think that helped us learn to find out where we could find some efficiencies, and and we'll show you those efficiencies in the Velocity Reconcile, demo. We actually have a testimony. We've got a, customer of ours who's now closed two months in a row using Velocity Reconcile, and I think, she got some powerful words we'd like to share with everyone. We'll do a review of the pricing, and then any questions anyone have, we'll answer there. So moving forward. So a little bit about SCAN one two three. So SCAN one two three has been around for about a quarter century now. We were born from a dealership. They had a fire, and they lost a lot of those white boxes, and they realized that, storing documents in a back closet that wasn't always locked probably wasn't the best thing. We've, since then, modernized our software. We added velocity file, which is backs batch scanning. We added a, signing solution, that we use mainly in the home health care, but some some dealerships use that as well. So multiple products, and and now we're, working on our third product, Velocity Reconcile. But, one of the things we learned over the last twenty five years has been that in a month is really busy for our customers. Again, working in a dealership, I knew better to walk into the accounting office the second or third day of the month, unless it was really, really urgent. Right? There's a lot going on back there. So Simon and I and the team spent, the last nine months, busy with controllers to learn why. Why is the month end so busy? What is going on, that requires so many people to do so many things in a short period of time? And, again, for there is where we, came up with the idea of velocity reconcile. Being a mentor is a tough job. We know that. You know, we appreciate the work that you guys do day in, day out. You've gotta focus on many things. Reporting has to be done every month. OEMs, dealer principals, Wall Street, all wanna know how profitable you were last month. You know, that reporting, is gonna may help with bigger decisions. Do you increase inventory? Do you refresh a showroom? Do you acquire a new dealership? All all of those all that reporting on your cash flow and and the profitability helps people make those decisions, and that reporting has to be done by you. Payroll. You know, so many people in the dealership are paid on commission. You know, until you have your books finalized, you can't get that last checkout. Right? And so it's really critical to so many people in the dealership that you have those those numbers done, correctly. If you're managing multiple rooftops or multiple OEMs, the work is doubled or tripled or or multiples of that. So, again, a lot's going on there. And finally, you guys have to be penny perfect. That's the goal. Right? No pressure there. But everyone wants to know where every penny went and then how it was allocated for and how it was spent and and, how much of it was gross. Again, a lot going on in your world. So we know it's not getting easier. You're using antiquated software. I mean, let's talk about your tools. I personally worked at CDK and Automate. I know how old that tech is, Reynolds and Reynolds and DoorTrak and others. You know? The tech's old, and it wasn't always built with controllers in mind. Local and federal agencies are putting more and more compliance pressures on you with, like, things like GLBA and fraud protection. So you have to be more diligent in the work that's being done. Additionally, as there's a compression, of gross due to rising costs, more and from customers, competition, a lot of business offices had to reduce staff that aren't, and those staff members who don't generate sales, those positions are are are lost. So you're actually doing more with less people. And as stated in the last slide, OEMs require you to close by the tenth. Some groups or dual principals want them want the books closed in three to five days. No one is giving you more time. So, you know, hearing from you guys, really learning about all the things you have to do in the short time you have to get them done with old Enclave tools really kinda walked us into our moment. Right? There needs to be a better way to close your books. So here at Scan one two three, we thought about how can we help controllers close their books fast and more accurately? How can we give time back to the accounting offices so they do more of what they need to do? So much of reconciliation is still done by hand. There has to be a quicker and more efficient way. So we're gonna ask you guys to ditch the highlighters. You know, complete your floor plan reconciliations instantly with the last glossy reconcile. You're able to reconcile your floor plans within seconds. You can save hours. Our research has showed that on average, it takes a dealership two to four hours to reconcile the floor plan. With our tool, Leslie Reconcile, it does it within five seconds. We can one hundred percent accurately read your bank statements and your schedules, so there's no concerns about missing, a line item or missing a vehicle or missing a VIN. We're able to read all all those documents. Even the best of us miss something from time to time, but Velocity Reconcile is able to solve that for you. And why take this task on for yourself? So many controllers are doing this reconciliation themselves. You can delegate this work with confidence to others and not be concerned that mistakes are gonna happen. You're able to run velocity reconcile multiple times, and so you can ensure that each time that, an update's made to your schedules, you can see that it actually took place. So there are a lot of me speaking for the last ten minutes. I'm gonna turn over to Simon. Simon's gonna walk through a demo, show you how it works, and you'll see in real time how the tool, functions. So, Simon, I'm gonna turn it over to you. Gotcha. So pulling it up right now. Yep. So I just logged in, and this is your company dashboard, that you would see in the Velocity Reconcile product. So right at the top, you're gonna see SJ Auto Group. So this would be my dream auto company that I would be owning. Along with it, you would see all of the company information below. So you can see that the OEMs I have is GM and BMW. I'm on the PBS for my DMS. And then you can see that my address is right here. Along with it, you can kinda see that I last logged in, the role that I have within this company. And if I wanted to edit anything, it's just simply clicking here. Or if I wanted to change any sort of passwords, I have the top right hand corner to make those adjustments. Now the big thing is on the left is we have, pretty much our our menu items. First one is gonna be the floor plan reconciliation, the first of many. And then we have our feedback. That would be direct feedback that you provide for Brent and myself, for more reconciliations you would like to see in the future that we can easily compare. Along with it then would be our help. So any sort of troubleshooting issues that you may, run into, we can quickly do it yourself. But once again, you could always reach out, to our support to help you with it. So, yeah, the main thing is going into the floor plan reconciliation. We know that most, dealerships are only gonna have one DMS. You don't have to worry about selecting between, you know, all the different DMSs. We know which one. In this case, we know that I'm on a PBS, DMS. However, what we've seen is that, rooftops will, do different flooring depending if it's new or used or different OEMs with different banks. So we do allow that ability to select between multiple banks. In this case, we're gonna go with BMO for the demonstration. And this is real customer data that we will be using for the demonstration as well. So I have a floor plan from a PBS dealership that I'm going to drag and drop in, or, I can select and choose that file and put it in. Along with it, I'm going to put in their bank statement as well, their BMO bank statement. And this is just them. They didn't do any sort of modifications. They just pulled it directly from their DMS and directly from their bank. They didn't have to do anything special to it. And then I clicked reconcile. So now we're going to reconcile these documents. And just like we said before, it's very quick. So you can see that it went through a hundred and fifty five, VINs in the DMS, and it went through a hundred and fifty five VINs in the bank record. And it was able to match a hundred and fifty three. So it was able to actually do the comparison for us. So once we go to our matched VIN, you can see that, at the top, there's all these discrepancies. We kind of streamlined our workflow for controllers so that all of these, discrepancies are at the top first, so they don't really need to focus on the other ones. When I go down, there's quite a bit of discrepancies. You can start seeing whenever we're seeing these clean matches across with no discrepancies and no differences. If there was less, you know, you could always just hide those and really just focus in by showing only the ones with discrepancies. So we're capturing the stock. We're capturing the VIN. We're seeing what's on your floor amount, your bank amount. We're seeing the difference, and we're seeing the floor date to help indicate where that vehicle currently is, right, or when it was actually floored more rather. So here you can see that we had a couple things that didn't get matched, and we're seeing that something might have been put input incorrectly into the DMS. Something that was two dollars, something was forty dollars. So that could be updated. Along with it, you can see in the bank only tab, there's two that these are showing up as, the bank is still could be possibly charging us, interest on these vehicles that we have not yet floored. And so that's a massive catch that you can get credited back or make that adjustment accordingly. And finally, we have the all data tab. So you can kinda read through all the data and see what is the what is the actions that you can take against them. But, yeah, mainly, this is where we see a lot of people and controllers working that are currently using the product is in the matched VIN section. Well, thank you, Simon. You wanna close your share. And so, I know you've been working closely with this customer. You wanna talk a little bit about our, our friend, Michelle? Yeah. So Michelle has, four rooftops, and it takes her about an hour, hour thirty for each, floor plan reconciliation that she has to do for each rooftop. We've now been able to condense that time down about fifteen or twenty minutes, and the long port part of it is mainly just doing the pulling the report from Automate. So they're a Ford store, and they have been doing it for the last two months with a hundred percent accuracy even going back, in the first month to check with their old, manual highlighters to see if they're having the same accuracy level, which we've saw a hundred percent. So they've cut their, foreprint reconciliation, by half a day. Yeah. It's pretty awesome. And, talk a little about some of our partners. Yeah. So, we work with every DMS and every bank. We are able to reconcile it also. It's agnostic. It can it can is compatible with anybody's bank, anybody's DMS, and it can just quickly do the reconciling right there for you. And these are just some of the ones we're working with today. Some of our customers. Cool. Thanks, Simon. Alright. So the big question, what's the cost? And so, it is two ninety nine per month per rooftop. We are doing group discounts. So if you got more than one store, we're able to work a different pricing schedule with you. It's unlimited for prime reconciliations, so you're able to reconcile as often as you want. So instead of waiting to the end of the month, you can do this weekly. You can do this every day if you want. But to us, it doesn't matter how many reconciles reconciliations you run. It's unlimited. Still unlimited support to our US based support team, unlimited access router to our support team. There's no setup charge. If you happen to use a lender that we haven't programmed, we program it for free. It takes us half a day to to program it, so there's no long wait. And we've got all major DMSs already programmed. And then, exclusively for this webinar, we're doing a sixty day free trial, meaning you pay nothing for sixty days, followed by a twelve month contra contractual term. So you have sixty days. You're able to opt out. You're like, this isn't for me. You can go ahead and cancel, the agreement. We're so confident in the product that it's gonna help save you time, and potentially save you money by things that are being missed. We're gonna offer that sixty day free trial. And then, if there's any questions, you can always feel free to reach out to me. My email address and, my phone number are there. I just wanna thank everyone for attending today.
